Based on the rigorous and in-depth scientific approach, up-to-date open database, integral research conducted by a vast group of leading scholars from all over the world, the analysis provides for the first time an almost exhaustive picture of state sovereignty: political, economic, technological, information, cultural, cognitive, military.

Each of these seven indices of sovereignty is calculated by using equalization coefficients based on a maximum score of 100 points, which, in turn, is extracted from official national and global data sources and expert assessments.

In addition, the analysis often demonstrates what we call ‘paradoxes of sovereignty’, when a small and modest country, in terms of world influence, shows a greater sovereignty and independence than its ‘global’ counterpart. Today, this paradox as well as some other unexpected peculiarities of sovereignty can only be found on the website of the International Burke Institute.
